Get Financially Stable

Homebuyer Education

Buying a home can be overwhelming.  Learn how to make sense of the mortgage process and figure out how to buy a home you can afford... and afford to keep. We offer both online and in-person classes.

Upcoming in-person workshop

Please join us for our next workshop, Tuesday, February 14th from 6:30 -- 8:30 p.m. at M Station. Our two-hour home-buyer workshop will prepare you to take an online home-buyer education course offered through eHome America. This workshop covers the ten-steps in the home buying process, determining your affordability, how much money you need to have saved before buying a home, down payment assistance programs, and how to access the online content.

Class participants receive a log-in and password for the online course after completing the workshop. Foundation Communities covers the fee for the online course (a $45 value). Participants have up to one-year to complete the online course.

To register, send an email to HB@foundcom.org or call (512) 610.4021.

Online classes

The online class can be taken at your convenience.  There is a $45 fee to take the online course. To get started click here.
